Come join Literacy Volunteers in our 2nd annual Celebration of Black History Month, with poetry, song, and read-alongs at Dr. BL Perry, Jr., Branch Library, Thursday Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. Enjoy a performance by well-known local singer and actress Dee Selmore (Professor of Theatre and Drama at Tallahassee Community College) as she teaches us through image and song. And be sure to shake hands with Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor, who will read a special story to the children.
